Synopsis This course covers fundamental aspects of the agro-biodiversity in tropical agriculture. It encompasses interaction among organisms and also adaptations of these organisms to support sustainable agriculture. Learning Outcomes Define biodiversity and taxonomy, explain the species concept, and apply the principles of nomenclature and classification. Explain the basics of virus, bacteria and fungi and their roles and implications in agriculture Distinguish the salient features of the forest and its importance in the development of agriculture
